About Dr. Kelsi
Dr. Kelsi Sando is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Her specialties include cosmetic facial acupuncture and microneedling, pain management, anxiety and stress management, and women’s health and hormone balancing.
Dr. Kelsi Sando’s interest in holistic health and healing began when she was an undergraduate student athlete at UC Irvine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences while competing as a high jumper on the Track and Field team. As a student-athlete she learned the importance of living a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Her experience gave her a holistic view and understanding of health and well being.
Dr. Kelsi Sando initially began her graduate education studying Naturopathic Medicine. During her time as a naturopathic graduate student, she faced some personal health challenges that led her to try Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. After experiencing first-hand how quickly and efficiently Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine treatments were able to help her regain her health, she decided to dedicate herself to helping others in the same capacity. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine degree from Pacific College of Health and Science.
Dr. Kelsi Sando addresses the root cause of her patients' concerns with treatments that are non-toxic, minimally invasive, virtually pain free, and effective. Dr. Kelsi’s patient care is gentle, compassionate, and individualized. She takes a holistic approach to healing and considers and addresses the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of all her patients.
Dr. Kelsi Sando's cosmetic facial treatments are holistic as well. She treats cosmetic concerns directly while also addressing underlying health concerns that may be at the root of cosmetic concerns.
Dr. Kelsi Sando’s treatment plans are as unique as each of her patients. She provides traditional and cosmetic acupuncture treatments, herbal medicine recommendations, cupping therapy, gua sha, moxibustion, vitamin and supplement recommendations, dietary and lifestyle recommendations, and when necessary, will perform functional medicine testing. She is also certified in microneedling and completed her microneedling certification course through San Diego Cosmetic Acupuncture.
